ANNUAL SPORTS DAY
The annual Sports Day of SMKSB was held at Selayang Stadium on 29 January 2008.  The theme was ‘Majulah sukan untuk negara’. This activity does not only stress the importance of being fit but at the same time fosters unity in students.  Other schools like SMK Kiaramas and SMK Kepong Baru also participated in particular the 4x400 meter run.  Games were also held for the special kids (PKBP) as well as for the teachers and parents. 
This year, the champion was the Neptune (Blue) House. As for the marching for the unit uniforms was won by the Scouts Movement.

CROSS COUNTRY RUNRIMUP
The 2008 Cross Country Run took place on 22 March 2008.  Its objective is to create awareness for a healthy lifestyle.  The run was done in the vicinity of the school.  At last, ‘A jog a day keeps the doctor away’. 

RIMUP
RIMUP which is Rancangan Intergrasi Murid Untuk Perpaduan is back and more exciting this time around.  We had cultural shows of all sorts ranging from the ethnic Sabahan Dance to the Lion Dance performance.  Neighbouring schools as well as neighbourhood representatives were also invited.

FIRE DRILL
This activity was successfully carried out on 10 April 2008.  The aim is to prepare students as well as school staff if such an incident really did take place.  The afternoon session also had its own drill within the same week.  Everyone was given the opportunity to use the extinguisher.  Tips and reminders on how to put out fires and types of fire extinguishers were also given by a Fire Squad officer.

CARRIER WEEK (14-18 APR, 2008)
This week is mainly aim at introducing students to the various courses and degrees offered by many universities and colleges in Malaysia.  Furthermore, student have chance  to obtain the necessary information as to which courses would be suitable for the occupation that they desire.  Lastly, this week also helps to prompt students, especially the Form 5’s to start considering which courses to take and which learning institution to go to.
